The DeLand Prep Initiative
Get Involved
DeLand Prep students learn about community service in addition to reading, writing, and arithmetic. Whether performing at local fundraisers, visiting senior citizens, or helping with community clean-up projects, our students actively participate in making the community cleaner, safer and stronger.
Giving Back to our Community
Our students are learning that you don't have to be an adult to make an adult-sized difference in the world.
Every student in grades 7-12 participates in numerous community service projects throughout the school year. From visiting and encouraging the residents of a local care facility to assemble food and toiletries for the homeless to investing in missions to impoverished nations in the world, students of Deland Prep are learning the joy of serving others and that, no matter their size, they are valuable and necessary members of our community. Each student and parent will be required to complete 25 community service hours each year within the City of Deland.
The Deland Prep Community Initiative
Deland Prep is focused on making our community a better place and giving back whole heartily.
